Juniata River "kayaking"

Lewistown Narrows trip from Lewistown to Mifflintown.

Glen and I paddled from Lewistown to Mifflintown. Glen then continued on to Port Royal.

The water level was about 3.7 feet at Lewistown.

The water level was about 4.1 feet at Newport. I was on the water about 3.0 hours.

This is a very senic area. Juniata Adventures took us from their place in Port Royal to Lewistown. We dropped my truck at the Mifflintown boat access. Glen had a tandem Wilderness Pamlico and I had my Coupe Del Rio. There was one small rapids with 6 or 8 inch waves. I could have taken my tippy Tarpon 100.
