Juniata River - Class I - Date: Sunday, June 1, 2008 Juniata River "kayaking" It was a beautiful day on the Blue Juniata! Bob, Rick, Jeff, Rayna, Bruce and Jim paddled from Howe Park to Ken's Beach today. The water level was about 4.77 feet at Newport. The trip took about 3.5 hours. The water temperature was about 21 degrees celsius. This was about a 7 mile paddle.
