Juniata River - Class I - Date: Friday, June 13, 2008 Juniata River "kayaking" It was a beautiful day on the Blue Juniata! Jeannie, Ken, John and Jim paddled from Howe Park to Ken's Beach today. The water level was about 3.9 feet at Newport. The trip took about 4.5 hours. The water temperature was about 28 degrees celsius. This was about a 7 mile paddle.
