New River trip July 16, 2008 New River "kayaking" It was a beautiful day on the New River! Elmer Eddy the "White Oak River Trash Man" of the Swansboro Navy escorted us out on the New River where we protected the shores of Camp Lejeune. We only encountered one pirate.
