We did Sherman's Creek from Dellville to Duncannon. The water was about 2.5 feet on the Shermansdale gauge. The waves were much small than they were on Memorial Day. There are numerous ledges and waves for surfing. The rocks are beginning to show up through the water. If it gets much lower I will not be able to go. I think the minimum would be about 2.0 feet. Ruth, Phil and I enjoyed a real nice trip. It was a short trip of about 8 miles and took 3.5 hours. This is a beautiful and quiet trip. There were only bird sounds and riffles to interrupt the quiet. I was the only one who fell over. I guess I can't surf sideways. I am glad the water finally warmed up. The only problem is the steep takeout.
