Susquehanna River trip on September 11, 2005!

September 11, 2005

The Susquehanna River gauge at Harrisburg was about 3.18 feet.
Shelba and I paddled from Duncannon to Dauphin
on the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania.

The river was getting low but it was no problem.
We could do this trip even if the river got down to 3.0 feet.
Less than that could get difficult.

It was an absolutely beautiful day!
The water was clear and moving well.
The rocks where show more than usual and very interesting.
When we got down to the take out we decided to paddle a little more
and crossed the river to paddle among the rocks.

This trip was about 3 hours.
