Juniata River Ken's Beach paddle August 27, 2008 Juniata River "kayaking" It was a beautiful day on the Blue Juniata! I paddled at Ken's Beach today. I went a third or so of the way up towards Iroquois Falls. That was as far as I could go without walking. I did see a couple Bald Eagles but could not get a close picture. The water level was about 3.22 feet at Newport. The water temperature was about 22 degrees celsius.
