Juniata River trip September 14, 2008

Juniata River "kayaking"

It was a beautiful day on the Blue Juniata! Ann, Paul, Ted, Mark, Luke and Jim paddled from Howe Park to Ken's Beach today. The water level was about 3.8 feet at Newport. The trip took about 4.5 hours. The water temperature was about 22 degrees celsius. I think this trip was a victory for us although to the best of my recollection I cannot recall what it was.

The Duncannon Navy rides again!

Cap’n “Madman” Jim decided we needed to give somebody a promotion. So, as of September 15, 2008 it is Admiral “Madman” Jim!
