Juniata River trip August 23, 2009

Juniata River "kayaking"

It was a beautiful day on the Blue Juniata! Shelba, Kathy and Jim paddled from Howe Park to Ken's Beach today. The water level was about 3.68 feet at Newport. The trip took about 4 hours. The water temperature was about 25 degrees celsius. Some fool fell off his boat. I am not quite sure who it was.

The Duncannon Navy rides again!
